Easter Holidays 2017

We kick started our holiday with a belated Mother’s Day meal at Clowance Estate with Grandma and Grandad Fry followed by a lovely walk around the estate and time on the swings and slide.

Now ironically there are no pictures of Mom and I despite it being our mothers day celebration.

A trip to our first soft play happened this weekend with our friends Chris and Meg with their daughters Olivia and Verity. Alfie had so much fun, especially in the cosy cars!

We then ventured out to trelissick where we took Alfie around on the Easter egg hunt and were able to follow all the clues and make the magic word. Alfie won a chocolate bunny and was over the moon! We also had a little snoop around the house.

He really did enjoy his bunny.

We had a surprise day out with Auntie Sonia to Paradise Park and saw some amazing animals. Alfie really liked the otters and tried talking to them when he heard their squeaks. We also saw the red pandas and some penguins too. Alf really liked feeding the goats although he did try to munch on their snacks. During the bird shows he excitedly pointed at the birds as they flew past and over our heads.

A few days later we went to Lanhydroc house and gardens. It was just the right weather and Alfie enjoyed walking around the huge library with a very old piano in.

Time to see our wonderful friends Kerry, Ben and Emily for a picnic in the park. After we braved the cold winds we took a stroll around and visited the swings and merry-go-round. Alf really loved being spun around with Kerry. While we were there we also spied Auntie Lee-Ann and cousin Lily.

To end the holidays we had Easter Sunday lunch with Ben and Harriet. Alfie loved the Easter decorations and the oven glove puppet show Harriet put on for him too!

Overall we had a very busy holiday and in addition to all these actives we also had Alf’s first birthday! See our previous post to see how Alfie’s cake smash and tea party went!
